Bourbon/Distilleries
Kentucky is known as the bourbon capital of the world because of its ideal climate and limestone water that contribute to the quality of its bourbon. Kentucky's temperature swings, from hot summers to cold winters, cause the bourbon barrels to expand and contract, which is a key part of the aging process. The limestone filtered spring water contains smaller amounts of minerals that affect taste.
Living in Northern Kentucky gives me access to dozens and dozens of distilleries. I have toured numerous distilleries and always take my camera!
