Bees, Sunflowers, Flowers

I use a macro lens when photographing bees. Sunflower patches are great places to find numerous bees. Surprisingly I have never been stung when photographing bees in the sunflower patches. I was stung twice when photographing the beehive of a friend. I wore the beekeepers protective gear but decided to take my gloves off to operate my camera better and that's why I was stung two separate times. Farmers Markets are great places to find gorgeous flowers. Holland, MI and Santa Monica, CA had such beautiful flowers! And locally, the tulips in April at the Cincinnati Zoo are breathtaking!
